Mountain View — The police department on June 3 worked with Lakewood Special Investigations to investigate a business suspected of operating as an illicit massage parlor, Chief Nesbbit told the council during the June 15 meeting.
According to the chief, an undercover operative was solicited for a sex act, officers executed a search warrant, seized evidence and took two women into custody; one was charged with prostitution/solicitation and the other was released pending further investigation. The building’s property manager cooperated and terminated the lease; locks were changed and the location is closed.
Chief Nesbbit praised the interagency cooperation and said evidence continues to be processed; multiple jurisdictions are now involved as follow‑up work continues.
What happens next: the department will share prosecutorial updates as they become available and continue coordinating with partner agencies on the investigation.
