Board member Greg Houk said he did not want the location "to turn into another bar" given its position at a busy intersection. Patel responded the business would not be a bar, that "there will be no beer on tap nor any beer sold to be consumed on premise unless they order food."
Greg Houk moved to approve the permit change with the on/off‑premise designation; Todd Humble seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board did not record additional conditions besides the permit change in the transcript. The new permit status was approved at the April 14 meeting.
