Alexandria Eagolf, representing Snap On, confirmed plans for the Aug. 21 event and asked staff about planned construction on Indian Street (30th to 24th avenues) in June that could affect event logistics; staff said they would discuss accommodations offline.
The committee also approved items 8–11 (Fundacion Mexico festival Sept. 7, Orgulo Hispano festival Sept. 14, Kenosha Police Department community event Oct. 4, and a quadricycle license/route review for Lakeshore Pedal Tours); applicants and community representatives emphasized family-friendly programming and growing attendance.
Contracts and easement: The committee approved award of Project 24-1044 (67th Street and 99th Avenue resurfacing) to Lawn Contractors Inc. for $317,400 and Project 25-1048 (Third Street resurfacing) to AW Oaks and Sun Inc. for $442,600. The committee also approved a distribution easement to Wisconsin Electric Power Company (We Energies) adjacent to the Kerrigan building; staff said the easement is initially to serve the Kerrigan project but will have additional uses.
Other routine actions: The committee approved a corrective resolution (Resolution No. 57-25) to reconcile initial and final assessments for Project 24-1029 (Second Avenue Phase 7), approved a mayoral final plat for 15th Place and 27th, and accepted a construction quote from ECI for electrical improvements at Simmons Island Beach House to add circuits for concession and amenity equipment.
Staff introduced a preliminary resolution to levy assessments for sidewalks and driveway approaches for Project 25-1040 (71st Street resurfacing); the committee approved that resolution. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn.
