After discussion on the suggested donation level and a review of program options and local site changes (including community efforts to sustain services in Packwaukee and Neshkoro), the committee voted to raise the suggested donation for meals from $4 to $5, effective Aug. 1, 2026. Committee members said the change is intended to help cover rising food costs while preserving access; they also discussed volunteer recruitment as a key strategy for sustaining service without expanding the budget.
The ADRC reviewed other Aging Plan goals spanning Title III‑B transportation, Title III‑D evidence‑based health promotion, and Title III‑E caregiver supports, and noted several evidence‑based class schedules and outreach campaigns planned in 2025 and 2026. The committee set next steps for outreach (fair events, community promotion) and scheduled follow‑up on meal‑site viability.
