Trustees reviewed the village's year‑two sewer inspection and repair program, a recurring requirement under a settlement with Save the Sound and the village's Capacity, Management, Operations and Maintenance (CMOM) program.
Staff said Arcadis performed the year‑one inspection work and recommended Arcadis continue for year two so the village remains in compliance with settlement terms. The consultant would perform CCTV inspections, cleaning and material disposal as needed, identify inflow and infiltration sources and recommend repair scopes with cost estimates. Staff cited a year‑two fee in the vicinity of $197,740 and said the work was budgeted in the tentative FY26–27 Sewer Fund allocations.
Under Westchester County reporting requirements staff noted the village missed filing the annual 2024 sewer report and must submit the 2025 filing. Arcadis quoted $11,200 to prepare those reports; staff said using Arcadis for reporting made sense because they already know the sewer system and the village's consulting engineer and staff had discussed that option.
Trustees asked questions about past spending and the scale of previous repairs; staff noted the village owns and maintains a large sewer system and that inspection and reporting work will help prioritize repair projects. The board did not vote on the year‑two agreement at the work session; the item will appear on the next regular meeting agenda for formal authorization.
