The Village of Mamaroneck Planning Board on April 22 approved a one‑year administrative extension for the site‑plan approvals at 1027 Constable Drive and took a series of procedural votes advancing several pending applications.
Chair opened the meeting and the board first considered the extension request for 1027 Constable Drive. Board members discussed whether recent architectural work might alter approved site‑plan conditions; staff and counsel confirmed building permits would be reviewed against the existing approved site plan. The board then voted to grant a one‑year extension. The chair summarized that the building department must apply the approved site‑plan conditions during permit review.
Afterward the board heard initial presentations on three first‑visit matters and took procedural votes. The board classified the applications for 200 Jensen and 521 Eagles Knoll as Type 2, allowing the applicants to resubmit materials and triggering consultant review. The board also treated the 527 Jefferson lot‑line/subdivision filing as Type 2 for this phase and directed the applicant to submit a plat so the next complete package can be noticed as the public hearing. The returning 150 Madison application was discussed at length; the board agreed to have its attorney prepare a site‑plan resolution for review and voted to proceed with that approach.
Finally the board opened the required public hearing on the Orienta Beach Club wetland and variance request and left the hearing open for additional submittals and consultant responses. No public speakers appeared at the meeting.
Actions recorded at the meeting were procedural and unanimous: the one‑year extension for 1027 Constable Drive (approved), Type 2 classifications for 200 Jensen, 521 Eagles Knoll and 527 Jefferson (approved), verbal authorization/draft resolution direction for 150 Madison (approved), and opening the Orienta Beach Club wetland public hearing (opened and left open).
