Amy (staff) presented the changes, saying staff and the parks committee discussed the updates and that edits were shown in red starting on page 13 of the packet. “The one big change was the deposit for the Aaron Hillfield,” Amy said, explaining the committee’s rationale that the turf facility is an upgraded amenity and the refundable deposit should match the concession-stand deposit.
Council members also asked about special-event fees and nonprofit waivers; staff confirmed fee waivers may be requested and that fees cannot be charged for services not posted. After discussion, a motion to approve the 2025 fee schedule updates was moved, seconded and carried on a voice vote.
The fee schedule update is a procedural action that sets posted fees and standardizes deposits and waiver procedures; individual events may still seek fee waivers by request.
