Assistant Manager David Thompson presented unpaid bills totaling $228,436.54 as of June 13 and asked for approval to pay them; the board voted unanimously to authorize payment. The board also authorized payment of any bills that arrive before the next meeting in June.
The board approved submission of a final application for a USDA loan. No loan amount or terms were specified in the meeting minutes; the vote to submit the application carried unanimously.
Grant announcements included a $5,000 award from the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy for plantings and stabilization of a new retention basin in Douglass Park and a $2,374 award through the 2025 Trees for Watersheds program for trail trees and basin stabilization.
Roadmaster Michael Heydt said a candidate for a public-works position accepted a different job; the board voted to re-advertise the full-time public-works opening. The board also approved Waste Management's one-year cost-of-living increase for an extended service year, an increase the meeting record described as about $13.56 for the year beginning Jan. 1, 2026.
