Commission establishes 'Above Paradise Loop' and 'Peak at Paradise Trail' for rural addressing

The Park County Commission on March 24 approved names for two county‑initiated drives to support rural addressing and 911 response.
Adrianna Barton, the county GIS analyst, told commissioners the county’s addressing policy (Resolutions 940 and 941, signed in 2006) requires a name where a driveway serves three or more properties. Barton said the first driveway serves nine landowners; the suggested name is "Above Paradise Loop" and addresses for two cabins and a cell tower will be reissued. The second driveway serves four properties and the owners proposed the name "Peak at Paradise Trail," which emergency services staff reviewed and approved.
Commissioners moved and approved establishing both names during the meeting. Staff said landowners were notified by mail between July and February and that limited public responses are typical for noncontroversial addressing changes.
The new names will be used in county addressing databases and by 911 services.
