Marlborough EDC hears updates on solar farm, self‑storage and a business consolidation

The commission did not record a timetable or a tenant plan for the property.
Commission members also reviewed three construction projects near the town center. Mark Paul reported a solar farm is under construction on Route 66 just west of Route 2 behind The Commons, a self‑storage facility is under construction just west of Route 2, and a Pieper Olson veterinary site is under construction on Route 66 east of the center. The updates were noted as project status reports; no permits, approvals or zoning decisions were recorded in the minutes.
The commission did not provide project sizes, expected opening dates or permitting details in the minutes. Materials and background files are stored in the EDC Google Folder, which the commission said is organized by subject or meeting date and available to members.
The commission did not take formal action on any of the properties at the meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 19, 2026, at Town Hall.
