The Williamson County Commissioner’s Court appointed Becky Ross to the county’s seat on the CapMetro board for a term beginning Aug. 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2029.
Commissioner Long moved to appoint Ross and thanked Eric Stratton, who said he had served roughly seven and a half to eight years and endorsed Ross to continue representation for Williamson County on the regional transit board. The court approved the appointment on the record.
What’s next: The appointment is effective Aug. 1, 2026; the small‑cities seat Stratton vacates will be filled by the small‑cities membership per CapMetro procedures.
