The North Logan Planning Commission voted to send a positive recommendation to the city council for a plat amendment to the Weybridge subdivision that would expand a buildable lot, create two agricultural remainder parcels and vacate an original public utility easement. Commissioners also recommended renaming the subdivision to Limber Pine Subdivision.
Staff (Aaron) said the amendment meets the general plan and master plan and that vacating the northern/eastern public utility easement is necessary to accommodate new lot widths and future layout. He told the commission the matter will require council review and a public hearing at the council level because the PUE vacation is a council action.
A commissioner moved to send a positive recommendation to the city council regarding the plat amendment, PUE vacation and rename; the motion was seconded and approved by the commission.
The recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for public hearing and final action, including review of any easement vacation and final map.
