Owner of Saylor farm asks Lower Pottsgrove authority for sewer and water hookups for remaining eight acres

Jon Calle, the owner of the remaining eight acres of the old Saylor farm at 1559 North Pleasantview Road, told the Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority on Oct. 13, 2025, that he is exploring options to connect the parcel to public water and sewer and pursue a small residential subdivision.
Calle said he has met several times with Authority Manager Edward C. Wagner and with former board member Joseph Groff and has also raised the matter before the Board of Commissioners. Calle said his upper parcel concept includes either a three-lot shared-driveway design or a five-lot cul-de-sac, and he is considering dwelling options for the lower portion of the property, including the possibility of living in the existing farmhouse. He added that at one point two dwellings had been considered for the lower portion.
Board members asked clarifying questions about the number of proposed dwellings and the status of the well on the property. Mr. McGeehan asked how many dwellings Calle is proposing; Calle described the conceptual lot patterns but did not give a final lot count. Wagner said the Authority staff and board would assist as appropriate as Calle advances plans toward 2026.
