Joseph Groff read the Treasurer's report at the April 14 Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority meeting showing operating-account funds of $4,254,928.29 and capital-account funds of $1,806,117.30. The Authority approved the Treasurer's report and authorized payment of bills by unanimous 4-0 votes.
The capital register included invoices of $136,505.50 (notably a $126,223.00 entry for Borough of Pottstown — UV System WWTP and Belt Filter Press) and the operating register totaled $313,340.46; together the approved registers sum to $449,845.96. Other notable operating items listed were a second-quarter Borough of Pottstown contribution of $280,612.00, DelVal interest of $7,897.13 and monthly health‑insurance and workers'‑comp trust charges.
Wagner told the Authority the audit began March 17 and that the audit results should be available within a month to confirm whether the Township owes funds or will receive a credit. He also reported sludge-disposal expenses of $12,000 for March and $35,000 year-to-date, substantially lower than the same period in 2024. Capital-equipment timing discussed earlier in the meeting noted the belt filter press was expected to arrive in May or June with a two- to three‑week installation and a goal of July 1 operation, while the UV equipment delivery is now scheduled for the first week of October.
The Authority approved payment of the bills as read; motions to approve both the Treasurer's report and the bill payments were moved by Mark Loshnowsky, seconded by Joseph Groff, and passed 4-0.
Next steps: audit results are expected in the coming month; staff will continue to monitor equipment delivery and installation schedules and report back to the Authority.
