Oak Hills general manager Jim Holiday to step down; authority to form search committee

General Manager Jim Holiday informed the Oak Hills Park Authority that he has submitted his resignation, effective August 28. Chair Alan Dutton announced the resignation during his chairman’s report and said he will form a five- to seven-person search committee — modeled on previous hiring processes for the golf pro and restaurant — to begin work in the weeks after the July meeting.
Holiday told the body he has “really enjoyed working with all of you” and described his three-plus years in the role as rewarding. Several board members offered public thanks for his service and praised facility improvements accomplished under his management.
Alan Dutton asked any authority members who wish to serve on the search committee to reach out; he said he will begin the process immediately and then hand leadership of the search to the new authority chair after the July meeting. The mayor is expected to present three new appointees to the city council on July 14; those members would attend the authority meeting two days later, on July 16.
Staff and board members said they will coordinate an orderly transition and will share search-committee membership and a hiring timeline when details are finalized.
