Commission approves engineering appointments, moves shared‑services recreation agreement forward

Under the proposed agreement, playgrounds, a walking track and fields behind the high‑school complex would be available to borough recreation programs after school hours; staff characterized the agreement as memorializing eight months of prior discussions and a necessary step to support investments in athletic fields.
Finally, the commission acknowledged authorization for payment of bills under existing code (cited as 75 B) and moved to enter executive session at the end of the regular meeting. Where votes were called, commissioners indicated assent; the meeting moved into a closed executive session on a motion without public detail.
