Public works says storm cleanup is ongoing; residents asked to bundle branches at curb

"We do have two crews out... but it's still... it's just taking forever because of the fact that everyone has branches out," Ty said.
Ty asked residents to help by bundling branches in small piles at the curb and noted that Republic will collect bundled branches. He reminded the public that the village’s branch pickup program is intended primarily for spring and fall and not as a continuous six-week pickup; if residents regularly place backyard debris out, cleanup will be slower for everyone. Ty said crews will do their best but asked for cooperation to help the department complete work sooner.
