On March 11 the Broken Bow City Council unanimously approved a motion to designate the BRAN host community event on June 3, 2025, as an official city special event.
Scotti Ross of the CEDC and Stephanie Grafel of the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce described the event background and planning. Grafel said organizers expect 300–600 BRAN riders to pass through the city and noted a host-community scholarship available for the event. Administrator Schmidt told the council that the official designation would allow food trucks to park on the square should the event committee request that accommodation.
The motion to approve the designation passed on a roll-call vote with Russ Smith, Travis Kleeb, Joe Wamsley and Paul Holland voting aye (moved by Holland, seconded by Wamsley).
