The board voted to approve invoice edit reports, payroll batches and electronic transfers for a combined total of $9,728,512.96. The minutes record a roll call with five yeas (Commissioners Gary Holzhausen, Bill Johnson, Cindy Garber, Brad Howard and Chairman Gregory Brodeur) and 0 nays for that vote.
Among other routine actions, the board approved an interlocal agreement to use Downtown Development Authority tax increment financing for the Jaedyn’s Way Brownfield Redevelopment Project; approved Remonumentation Peer Review Group members and remonumentation contracts as recommended by the county surveyor; and authorized an annual software renewal and conversion to virtual controllers for the county’s Mitel phone system not to exceed $14,631.22.
The board also awarded third‑party administrative services for the MSHDA CDBG Infrastructure Project (Creek Pointe Subdivision) to FLB Collective in an amount not to exceed $50,000 and authorized the chair and clerk to execute the necessary documents. The motion to award the contract carried on a recorded roll call.
On personnel, the board approved creation of a part‑time pretrial services specialist; the motion passed on a roll call vote reported in the minutes.
