At its Feb. 17 meeting the Beardstown City Council dispensed with the reading of Feb. 3 minutes, approved the consent agenda (including disbursements) unanimously, and adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
The Beardstown City Council convened on Feb. 17 at 6:45 p.m. and, after a brief session, approved routine items on the agenda.
A motion by Alderperson Mary Davis, seconded by Alderperson Dawn Seward, dispensed with the reading of the minutes from the Feb. 3 meeting and approved the minutes by unanimous voice vote. Under the Omnibus Vote Designation, Alderperson Dawn Seward moved, and Alderperson Shawn Taylor seconded, approval of the Consent Agenda, which included disbursements for the period ending Feb. 17, 2026; the consent items were filed following a unanimous roll-call vote.
No members of the public addressed the Council during the public-comment period. The meeting adjourned at 7:02 p.m. on a motion by Alderperson Dawn Seward, seconded by Alderperson Allie Dawson (recorded in the minutes as Dawson-Hoenes). The minutes were submitted by City Clerk Katherine Vitale.
