At its Feb. 9 meeting the Governing Board approved personnel actions recorded since the January meeting, including resignations and retirements and new hires.
Resignations/retirements noted in the minutes include Keri Anway (special education teacher, effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year) and Barbara Frost (school secretary, effective Jan. 31, 2026). The minutes also note the departure of Mike Smith as track and field assistant coach (effective pre-season). The board approved the personnel items after a motion by Jeri Taylor and a second by Sean Borland; "all in favor; motion carried." Superintendent Nehrmeyer read remarks recognizing Barbara Frost’s 26 years with the district and said a certificate and letter would be mailed.
The board also approved hiring Maritza Estrada as a track and field assistant coach.
