Board approves new job descriptions, ratifies hires and adopts teacher contracts for 2026–27

The Oracle Elementary School District No.2 Governing Board approved several personnel measures at its March 9 meeting, including new job descriptions, ratification of recent hires, acceptance of resignations, and approval of certified teaching contracts for 2026–2027.
The board adopted two new job descriptions: Instructional Coach (certified, salaried) and 925 Driver: Non‑CDL Required School Transportation Driver (hourly). Board member Sean Borland asked whether extracurricular duties would interfere with the Instructional Coach's classroom responsibilities; Superintendent Mrs. Nehrmeyer said staff must participate in some extracurricular activities to meet Classroom Site Fund requirements. The Instructional Coach job description was approved (Crall moved; Reid seconded) and the 925 driver description was approved (Reid moved; Taylor seconded); both motions passed unanimously.
The board ratified new hires and positions that have occurred since the February meeting, including Brittany Nuno (925 Driver, Non‑CDL), Annette Reidhead (substitute teacher), Suzie Musser (food service substitute), Denise Fisher and Mark Parrish (Instructional Coaches for 2026–27). The board accepted resignations and retirements including Catherine Harchick (Bus Aide and Title I paraprofessional, effective Feb. 20, 2026) and Barbara Frost (school secretary, retired). The board then approved certified teaching contracts for a roster of teachers for 2026–27 and approved certified salary adjustments for specified staff. Motions to approve these personnel items were moved and seconded and recorded as unanimous.
The meeting also included an Oath of Office for the newly appointed board member Jodi Barczak, effective March 9 through Dec. 31, 2026, and recognition of Stephanie Gutierrez as Exceptional Employee and first‑grader Will Benson as Exceptional Student of the Month.
