The Wolcott Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission on May 11 approved its April 13 meeting minutes, heard updates on several ongoing projects and agreed to schedule a site walk for The Park of Wolcott.
Members voted unanimously to approve the April 13, 2026 regular meeting minutes after a motion by Kyle Cleary and a second by Robert Pierpont. During old business Chairman William Tynan reported the construction manager for Tractor Supply Co. said the property at 1254 Wolcott Road had been transferred to Tractor Supply Northeast LLC; the manager will place ribbon around the disturbance area, install required soil and erosion controls and begin construction. The chairman also signed a Notice for the Land Records concerning the site.
Tynan said he received an engineer’s email confirming that the lower basin inlet and outlet pipes at 239 Wolcott Road were constructed according to the design plan. Regarding The Park of Wolcott on Park Road, commissioners reviewed the latest site monitor report and agreed to schedule a site walk; the recording secretary will contact Tim Brobroske and Wayne Zirolli to set it up. Chairman Tynan reported he signed two dock permits, one replacement and one new, both bearing Hitchcock Lake Association approval letters.
The commission opened time for public comment on agenda items and on any inland-wetlands matter; in both periods no members of the public spoke. The meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m after a motion by Kyle Cleary and a second by Eric Sousa.
