The Selectboard authorized the Town Manager to execute a contract with payment not to exceed $666,745 and gave the Town Manager authority to execute contract amendments or additional work authorizations for grant‑funded segments. The resolution notes $200,000 of funding is expected from the VTrans Class II Paving Grant with the remainder sourced from the FY2027 CIP paving budget.
For the Salt Shed Paving Project, two bids were received: Sunapee Paving LLC at $43,430 and SD Ireland at $36,400. The DPW recommended SD Ireland; the board authorized the Town Manager to execute the contract for $36,400, to be paid from the town’s fund balance.
Motions to award both contracts were seconded and approved unanimously. The signed contracts and any subsequent amendments will be handled by the Town Manager under the board’s authorization.
