Cassandra Hanan, Vernon County administrative coordinator, reported that the opioid settlement fund balance is $424,356.02 during the county Opioid Prevention and Steering Committee meeting on April 16.
Hanan said the new finance director will prepare a breakdown of fund activity, obligated funds, and project expenses to date.
In procedural business, Steve Micheals moved to approve the February 2025 minutes; Kristina Reser‑Jaynes seconded and the motion carried unanimously. At the end of the meeting, Kristina Reser‑Jaynes moved to adjourn at 3:24 p.m.; Steve Micheals seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The committee set its next meeting for May 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Vernon County Board Room and via Teams.
