On the bond effort, Donon said a capital committee is following a timeline that must be adhered to before the November election and that the committee is preparing sponsored letters from supportive companies and other outreach strategies so voters receive timely information. "They're going through a timeline that they have to follow to ensure that we're meeting deadlines to ensure that we're ready to go for the November election," he said.
Board members thanked Donon for outreach and noted the importance of ongoing community engagement; administration indicated additional outreach work would continue in the weeks ahead. The board did not take a vote on the bond at this meeting; the superintendent’s remarks were presented as a report and planning update.
