The council accepted Cindy Drinkwalter's retirement effective May 22, 2026 (motion by Council Member Brian Frahm, seconded by Christopher Dean). The council appointed Tonita Groskopf as interim Transportation Supervisor (motion by Frahm, seconded by Gaston) and separately approved advertising for a permanent Transportation Supervisor (motion by Dean, seconded by Frahm). All votes were recorded AYE.
Mayor Grant opened and read the single weed-spraying bid from West Nebraska Weed Service; Council Member Brian Frahm moved to accept the bid, seconded by Christopher Dean. Council approved proposed signage for the White River Trail after a presentation by Jenny Nixon (motion by Dean, seconded by Gaston). The council then approved bills and claims, requisition orders and transfers; the meeting record lists a claims total of $147,589.49. Council later convened an executive session to discuss personnel matters and adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
