Superintendent Dr. Paul Scudero provided background on one appointee, Caitlyn Nolan, saying she is a former district employee who previously served as a high-school assistant principal and was the committee’s top choice to fill an assistant principal position at the middle school.
The board also approved an agreement with CalUs Power for the 2026–27 school year. District staff described the contract as a cost-saving measure: the district purchases supply from an energy service company (ESCO) at a set, below‑market rate while continuing to pay delivery fees. The board approved the contract as presented.
