The City Council took several routine and administrative actions on Oct. 21.
Consent calendar: Council approved items 6.02–6.07 by unanimous vote after pulling item 6.01 (a typographical correction) for separate handling.
Minutes correction (6.01): Staff reported a typographical error in a special-meeting start time; the council voted unanimously to correct the minutes.
Transfer of sewer-capacity EDUs (7.01): Staff (Miss Paul) reported that Lewis Investment Company LLC and Encore Liberty LLC executed an assignment and transfer of 340 unused sewer-capacity equivalent dwelling units (EDUs) in the Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant service area under an agreement dated April 22, 2025. The staff report described the transfer as a private transaction that does not change the city’s total available EDUs; the council voted unanimously to accept and file the transfer.
Title 2 municipal code amendments (7.03): Staff summarized code changes to establish commission regular meeting schedules by resolution and to add an annual rotation of chair and vice chair roles based on council liaison recommendations; the council approved the ordinance on final passage.
All motions were seconded and passed by unanimous vote of members present. Specific motion language and roll-call tallies are in the official minutes and staff reports.
