Student leaders Robbie Grimes and Alex Robinson give final report on prom, senior events and internships

Robbie Grimes and Alex Robinson, outgoing student-government leaders, gave the board a final end-of-year report Tuesday night, recapping prom, senior activities, sports results and internship outcomes.

Grimes described prom on June 5 at the VIP Country Club as "a lot of fun," saying the DJ and food were well received and noting unusually late attendance compared with prior years. He also summarized senior field day events — including tug-of-war, kickball, yoga and egg-and-spoon races — and recounted the senior festival, which featured carnival games, cotton candy and free shirts. "Matthew Pashiko was the DJ there," Grimes said, offering a public thank-you.

Alex Robinson told the board that Stuco held a congratulations lunch for seniors and announced class honors and elections: "The valedictorian is Jack Cohen; salutatorian is Nate Coolidge," Robinson said, adding that Will Cohen won election as student-government president and will replace the outgoing officers next year. Robinson also said several internships have converted into paid summer positions and called the development "very exciting."

The students answered brief questions and received public appreciation from board members and community attendees who thanked them for their service.

The board did not take formal action on the student report; the presentation served as a routine update ahead of the summer recess.
