Bolton P&Z appoints alternate, re-elects chair and vice chair, and approves minutes

The Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously on several administrative items at its Dec. 11, 2019 meeting.
James Cropley moved to accept the Nov. 13, 2019 meeting minutes as amended (adding 'Certificate' after 'Economic Best Practice' and 'media' after 'Social'); Benjamin Davies seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 7:0:0.
The commission filled an Alternate vacancy: Rodney Fournier proposed Jeremy Flick of 21 Steele’s Crossing Road, who introduced himself and summarized his background as a local business owner. Thomas Manning nominated Flick and Christopher Davey seconded; the motion passed unanimously, 7:0:0.
Officers were elected by unanimous vote. Thomas Robbins nominated Adam Teller for Chairman (seconded by Arlene Fiano) and Christopher Davey nominated James Cropley for Vice Chairman (seconded by Adam Teller); both motions passed 7:0:0.
Thomas Manning also reported on a Regional Planning Commission presentation about the Sustainable Connecticut initiative and available grants that can be matched with funds or volunteer hours. Chairman Teller noted the town has formed a Charter Revision Committee with a first meeting planned for January 2020. The meeting adjourned at 8:32 p.m. following a motion by James Cropley and a second by Benjamin Davies; the motion passed unanimously, 7:0:0.
