Bolton PZC adopts modest $7,120 FY2020–21 budget

Patrice Carson presented the proposed budget and noted a small advertising line had been added; commissioners discussed trimming a payroll line if workload allows. Commissioner James Cropley moved to accept the budget as presented; Thomas Robbins seconded. The vote was 7-0-0.
Commissioners noted that applicants cover PZC-related expenses: the $385 application fee pays for required public-notice mailings and advertising, and fees also cover Town Engineer and Town Attorney services when used. Carson said all fees are paid by applicants and staff distributes supporting information as needed.
The commission agreed the low budget would likely not draw attention from the Board of Selectmen and that the December meeting would remain scheduled for officer elections unless no new applications are filed.
