Staff also said that East Joliet Fire Protection District detachment fees totaling $263.35 have been paid; the lot is not in a library district so no library detachment fees apply. Staff recommended the commission forward the annexation and annexation agreement to City Council with a recommendation of approval.
Raul Ramirez was sworn and asked about pouring concrete; staff clarified that any concrete work or accessory structure permitting would require a separate application after annexation and potential zoning actions. The commission moved and by roll call recommended approval to City Council; staff will notify the petitioner when the item is scheduled for council consideration.
