The Otsego Planning Commission on Jan. 27 received an update on the city’s draft Master Plan from Lori Costello of PCI, who asked commissioners to review each page and submit suggested revisions at least one week before the next meeting. Costello said she will bring an updated Future Land Use Map for the commission to review and explained the public hearing process that precedes formal adoption.
Commissioners thanked Costello for her assistance and agreed to review the document in preparation for scheduling a public hearing after revisions are incorporated. The minutes record no formal vote to adopt or to set a hearing date at this meeting; Costello’s requested deadline for revisions is the next meeting’s lead time requirement.
City Manager Mitchell also provided a brief update on the Rock-Tenn property/HoM Flat Project and said he hopes to have more information soon. The commission approved the Oct. 14, 2024 minutes as submitted before proceeding to agenda items.
