The Marlborough Board of Education unanimously approved the consent agenda covering the January 29, 2026 minutes, personnel actions (none listed), and the monthly enrollment report after a motion by Board member Amy Kuhrt and a second from Louise Concodello; Linda Earley approved remotely.
Superintendent Dr. Holly Hageman announced personnel changes: longtime custodian Joseph Dooley will retire next month after more than 53 years of service and requested donations to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in lieu of gifts; the Board made a donation in his recognition. Dr. Hageman also reported that Spanish teacher Beth Schwartz will retire at the end of the school year and that Maria Sanhueza has accepted the Spanish teacher position for 2026–27.
At the close of the meeting, Board member Louise Concodello moved to adjourn at 7:17 p.m.; Amy Kuhrt seconded, Linda Earley approved remotely, and the motion passed unanimously.
