The Templeton Community Services District board on June 16 adopted its fiscal-year 2026–27 budget and appropriations limit (Resolution 12-2026), approving personnel cost changes that include a 3.68% cost-of-living adjustment for full-time positions and targeted equity adjustments (2.5% for five classifications and 5% for one classification).
Finance staff told the board the budget had been reviewed by the administration and finance committee and at a final public workshop; a nondisruptive labeling error on a summary page was corrected before adoption. The budget includes standard line-item detail and funding sources; staff said none of the line-item amounts changed as a result of the correction.
Board members who missed some prior meetings said they reviewed materials online and in committee and voiced no objections. The board opened the public hearing on the budget; no speakers raised substantive objections. The motion to adopt Resolution 12‑2026 passed on a roll call vote; recorded votes in the transcript show the motion passed unanimously.
Staff thanked Natalie Klopp for preparation and audit support in the budget process. The board noted that the cost adjustments were calculated from the latest CPI (April over April) and that staff will continue to monitor classification adjustments for internal equity.
