Trustees reviewed preliminary concept images for a planned public-space improvement of the Coralville Public Library lawn during the May 6 meeting.
Library Director Alison Ames Galstad told trustees she and staff (including Diana Lundell and Keith Jones) had met with project contacts Kelly and Sherri to discuss how the Foundation might be involved. Board members agreed the conceptual designs will need to be scaled back in terms of scope and budget.
No formal action or funding decision was taken at the meeting; trustees discussed design expectations and asked staff and partners to refine concepts to fit likely budgets and foundation involvement. Trustees did not set a timeline for a final design vote.
