Shawna Argo, Wymore’s EMS chief, told the council she had provided an EMS Tax Incentive Form and that six members met the requirements this year to receive a tax incentive. Council accepted the submission as part of routine personnel business.
Argo also requested and the council approved sending six EMS members to the NEMSA conference in Kearney, March 9–12, 2023. The council’s motion authorized reimbursement for lodging, mileage, registration costs and meals not included by the conference. The motion passed 4-0.
No dollar amounts for incentives or reimbursement caps were recorded in the minutes; funding and detailed reimbursement procedures were not specified and remain a staff-level implementation matter.
