City staff said the tax budget is a legal requirement submitted to the county auditor and used by the county budget commission to set municipal tax rates. No public comment was recorded on the item. The commission moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote.
The adoption is an administrative step to proceed with the county budget process; staff invited questions but none were raised at the meeting.
