Kenosha council approves public-works contracts, leases, special assessments and settlements

Leases and disbursement: The council also approved farmland and hangar lease renewals (including agreements with Gitzelof Farms Inc., Hangar 18 Inc., and Casper Aviation LLC) and approved disbursement record M1, totaling $12,832,392.15, following finance committee recommendations.
Settlements: The council approved a settlement agreement with Walgreen Co. related to Kenosha County Circuit Court case no. 25-CV-520 and an agreement with Syfy Network Kenosha LLC resolving a breach notice dated Jan. 28, 2025; finance recommended concurrence and the motions carried.
