The sheriff's department described repeated enforcement rides to monitor speeds and cited a newly installed stop sign as having improved driver compliance. Officers said on the day of the report they counted 70 cars in a two-hour period and observed most vehicles travelling 25–30 mph and stopping at the sign; one motorist was given a warning for 33 mph.
Council members discussed traffic next steps and coordination with an incoming data center to ensure employee traffic follows a planned route that avoids town streets. The sheriff's office said it would continue variable-time enforcement and coordinate with employers on routing to reduce through-traffic.
