Premier Lakes reports minimal algae; littorals and aerator checks scheduled

At the June 25 meeting, Alex Kurth of Premier Lakes reported that the lakes under contract are in good condition heading into the rainy season and that crews had limited invasive vegetation to treat.
Kurth told the Board there is very little algae or submersed vegetation after preparatory work and that crews will treat any invasives that return. He said there are work orders for littorals to be installed in about two weeks and that staff will provide a firm date. Kurth also confirmed a sound box behind a house in the Masters was repaired and said he had not yet received feedback from staff or residents on that repair. Operations Manager Shane Willis asked Kurth to check sound levels at Lake E1-C and provide an update at the next meeting.
