Supervisors approve software-support contract, payroll and claims; acknowledge license renewals and manure plan update
Summary

On motions by Supervisor Meek, seconded by Vice-Chairman House, the Van Buren County Board of Supervisors approved several administrative and consent items.
The Board authorized the chairman to sign an FY2027 software support agreement with "Solutions", Inc., of Spencer. It then approved the listed payroll and claims (Payroll #50567-50657; specified ACH and claims series). The Board acknowledged automatic renewals of a Class E retail alcohol license for Douds Kwik Stop (TnT Wheeldon, Inc.) as provided by Iowa Code and approved a 12-month Class C retail alcohol license, including outdoor service, for AJ's Saloon Inc., Mt. Sterling. The Board also acknowledged receipt of a four-year Manure Management Plan update for Buch Farms LLC (Milton Site - Facility #61981). All recorded motions carried with two ayes.
These items were handled as routine administrative business; recorded tallies list two affirmative votes for each motion. The Board received brief committee reports including Decat before adjourning at 10:05 a.m.
