APEX tells board Coyote Willow Wind will hold outreach, begin environmental studies

During the Public Comment portion of the March 10 meeting, Corey Eberling with APEX (Coyote Willow Wind) told the board the company will be at Buzzard Billies and will staff a booth during this week’s ISAC event, and that a landowner supper will be held at the Exira Event Center. Eberling said APEX will offer area students an opportunity to apply for a scholarship.
Gabe Goldberg of APEX provided a project update and said Tetrotech will be in the area to perform environmental studies related to the Coyote Willow Wind project. No formal action or county endorsement of the project was recorded during the meeting; the comments were made as part of the public-comment agenda item.
The board did not vote on any permits or approvals for the project during the March 10 session; the exchange was informational and intended to update the board and the public about upcoming outreach and studies.
