Audubon County supervisors approve routine business, authorize $64,769.30 in claims

Audubon County Board of Supervisors Chairman Kent Grabill called the March 10 meeting to order at 9:01 a.m., and the board unanimously approved the agenda and a series of routine items, including a DNR MMP annual update for Pinto Finisher Farm #71790 and the annual liquor license renewal for Danish Countryside Vines & Wines LLC. The motions were moved by Supervisor Heath Hansen and seconded by Supervisor Don Mosinski.
The board approved the Recorder’s Report of Fees Collected for February 2026 and unanimously approved claims to be paid in the amount of $64,769.30. Supervisors also approved acceptance and filing of the Auditor’s February month-end reports and the Supervisors’ February 2026 month-end reports.
Auditor Lisa Frederiksen reported that the FY27 Property Tax Levy proof had been signed and submitted for publication; the board approved publication of the levy notice and set a separate meeting for March 24 at 1:00 p.m. Frederiksen also said the new election equipment contract was signed and “may possibly arrive in time for the primary election.” She reminded the board the FY25 audit is not finalized and remains confidential until completed.
The meeting adjourned at 12:20 p.m.
