Audubon County Board approves routine motions and $62,015.20 in claims

The Audubon County Board of Supervisors met March 17, 2026, at the Audubon County Courthouse. Chairman Kent Grabill called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. and the board unanimously approved the agenda on a motion by Supervisor Don Mosinski, seconded by Grabill.
On the consent and filing docket the board on motions by Mosinski, seconded by Grabill, accepted and filed a Sheriff’s asset addition and the Clerk of Court’s fees collected for February 2026. Supervisors also approved DNR Manure Management Plan (MMP) updates for HandlosIrlmeier (MMP #68002) and Muhr (Handlos) (MMP #65707). The board accepted and filed the resignation/retirement letter of Louis Wanninger from Secondary Roads after 35 years of service.
The board approved the March 10, 2026 meeting minutes and authorized payment of claims submitted by various departments totaling $62,015.20; the claims will be paid and published in a separate end-of-month publication. All recorded motions on these items passed by unanimous vote.
Chairman Grabill opened the public comment portion of the meeting at 9:17 a.m.; he also provided an update on building maintenance issues (see separate coverage). The meeting adjourned at 11:12 a.m.
