The Team moved into Closed Session to discuss confidential client information pursuant to §2.2-3711(A4) of the Code of Virginia. After reconvening the Team adopted the required certification that only matters lawfully exempt from open meeting requirements were discussed.
Following the closed session, members voted to approve FAPT‑listed services presented for May, totaling $92,377.62. The minutes list multiple case-level allocations; representative entries include Case 26-48 (total $22,285.94: Residential Education $17,375.54; Intensive Care Coordination $6,000.00), Case 26-49 (Family Foster Care/Parent Education $31,878.00), Case 26-58 (Foster Care Prevention psychological evaluation $5,000.00), and Case 26-59 (Parent Reunification $17,100.00). The approval vote was recorded as unanimous (Ayes: Kimberly Ayers; Diane Charapich; Shannon Vaught; Stephen Bear; Vicky Richardson; Anthony Cline; Billy Rice; Absent: Lacey Canterbury).
The Team also approved non‑FAPT expenditures for April totaling $14,666.51, covering basic foster-care maintenance for 10 youth, enhanced foster-care maintenance for seven youth, independent living maintenance for one youth and supplemental clothing for one foster child. That vote was recorded unanimous as well.
Minutes record the totals and unanimous roll-call votes; no member recorded nays or abstentions. The Team will continue to manage case-level expenditures through routine FAPT/CPMT processes.
