Greenville City Council approves minutes, signs off on routine expenditures

The council then approved purchases including $4,324.50 for tires for Engine No. 33, $3,564.00 for lumber for Sherling Lake, and a $10,491.11 contract with CivicPlus for emergency and mass notification services. Councilmember Bryan Reynolds made the motion on the expenditures and Councilmember Brandon Smith Sr. seconded; Mayor Brown announced the motion carried unanimously.
The votes were reported as unanimous by Mayor Brown; council members present for the actions were Mayor Jae’Ques Brown and Councilmembers Ed Sims, Brandon Smith Sr., Kenderius Boggan, Bryan Reynolds and Joseph West. The approvals were presented as budgeted items in the Public Works and related departmental budgets.
