- Tax abatements: Councilor Paula Stotts moved, and Councilor Tarsha Downing seconded, to issue a $350 abatement to Charles and Yvonne Silver (12 Purington Ave, Account RE1521); the motion passed 5-0. Councilor Stotts moved, and Councilor Ray Lavoie seconded, to issue a $350 abatement to Tammy Jo Chapman (6 Herrick Ave, Account RE1526); the motion passed 5-0.
- Transfer of reserves: Council approved moving $43,500 from the Police Training Reserve to the Solid Waste Reserve (motion by Councilor Sonny Morgan; second by Councilor Ray Lavoie), 5-0.
- Tabled items: Councilor Paula Stotts moved to table a proposal to move all funds from the Voting Machine Reserve to the Solid Waste Reserve for further research; Councilor Sonny Morgan seconded and the motion passed 5-0. Councilor Stotts also moved to table the proposed General Reserve policy and account after discussion; Councilor Ray Lavoie seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
- Meeting time: Councilor Stotts moved to begin the Dec. 4 council meeting at 6:00 p.m.; Councilor Young seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
- Executive session: The council entered executive session at 8:25 p.m. under 1 M.R.S.A. §405(6)(A) for personnel matters and exited at 9:30 p.m.; the meeting adjourned at 9:35 p.m. The minutes record no votes taken while in executive session.
