Vienna board approves lot-line adjustments, OKs subdivision for hearing and schedules multiple public hearings

At its Aug. 21 meeting the Town of Vienna Planning Board approved multiple reallotments and scheduled hearings for subdivision and special-use items.
The board approved Relot2025-01 (Veronica Migon) and Relot2025-03 (Fratini/Goff), authorizing interim Chairman Bill Shaughnessy to sign plats once required documents (Mylar copies or owner signatures) are provided. Miranda Ward moved to approve Relot2025-01 and authorized signature; Martha Link seconded. For Relot2025-03, the board approved the adjustment and instructed the applicants to obtain a Mylar from the surveyor before filing.
The board declared SUB2025-02 (Mark Corey, 780 Stone Barn Rd) complete, classified it as a Type II SEQR action, and scheduled a public hearing for Sept. 18, 2025 at 7:15 p.m.; the plats show one lot with 243' frontage and the other with 727.51' frontage. The board also scheduled a Sept. 18 hearing at 7:20 p.m. for SUP2024-08 (Justin Schuessler) after the ZBA granted a variance allowing multi-family use; the board found parking and trash arrangements acceptable and noted lighting will follow the Codes Officer’s requirements.
The board reviewed a sketch plan from Amy Galway (SUP2025-04) to add a second residential structure at 7800 Mill Rd; the board requested a survey and SEQR Part 1 and asked Galway to return next month. Secretary Kathy Pavelock reminded the board that new agenda items are due by Sept. 11 for the Sept. 18 meeting.
